Our Program

The WAV Project keeps a full schedule of classes and available lesson times to help learners stay engaged and progressing. 

Classes

Learn More ≫

  • Standard classes run for 12 weeks at a time.
  • Our current classes are:
    • Dance
    • Drawing
  • Spotlight Classes highlight incredible artists and musicians from our community. They have limited enrollment and may run shorter than 12 weeks. Stay connected via our new letter and social media for updates on upcoming Spotlight Classes.

Ensembles

  • Ensembles have a maximum enrollment. Once a specific class is full, another time slot may open based on interest. 
  • Ensembles run for 12 weeks at a time with a scheduled performance at the end. Stay up to date on our scheduled performances by monitoring our calendar and subscribing to our newsletter. 
  • Our current ensembles are:
    • Keyboard Ensemble
    • Guitar Ensemble

Tutoring

We offer both 1-on-1 tutoring as well as small group tutoring, both in person and virtually. Contact us for scheduling an availability!

This is the general interest form to participate in The WAV Project. A member of our WAV team will follow up to finalize registration.

    What We Do

    Our program provides academic support in addition to instrumental instruction, music theory and history and art history from around the world. We serve learners of all ages with classes ranging from beginner level to those more advanced in skill.

    Our Team: Founded by Shanel and Aaron Ranzenbach, our team is built up of amazing artists, educators and musicians. Each is passionate about inspiring others and filling our communities with creativity. 

    Program Objectives

    • To give children an opportunity to express themselves through music and art
    • To bring communities together from across the city of Los Angeles
    • To introduce new cultures and promote diversity and inclusion 
    • To give participants a safe place where they can set goals and be encouraged to accomplish them
    • To build a renowned, international arts exchange program

    • The number of graduating students enrolled in continuing music and arts education programs

    Each dollar donated to The WAV Project goes directly towards impacting the lives of our learners. Our goal is for learners of all ages to find passion, success and empowerment through education, music, and the arts. We strive to secure the funding that enables us to offer opportunities to our current participants, while growing to reach more each year.
