Music Exploration pt. I: Medieval Music: Travel to a time of kings, knights, and castles to explore the culture of medieval time through music.

Class length: 12 weeks

Monday @ 10:00a – 10:45a

Ages: 9-12

Class size: 4-8 learners

Price: $180 ($15 per class)

Focus: Covering composers, songs, styles, evolution of music, instruments of the time, theory and medieval culture and history

Goal: Taking on the role of a traveling troubadour, students will create a performance that includes poetry, songs, acting and more! This class is a great class to couple with an instrument class for students to enjoy two music classes a week; one exploring music, and another for applying their new knowledge on an instrument.
