Music Exploration pt. 1: Jazz It Up!

It’s 1920 and America is roaring while growing in status, as an economic power and world influence, and Jazz is the new style of music sweeping across the country!
Course length: 10 weeks
Monday @ 9:00am – 9:45am
Ages: 5-7
Class size: 4-8 learners
Price: $150 ($15 per class)
Focus: Covering composers, songs, styles, evolution of music, instruments of the genre, theory and jazz culture and history
Goal: In this class we will explore the beginnings of jazz over 100 years ago and the way it changed music forever. This class is a great class to couple with an instrument class for students to enjoy two music classes a week; one exploring music, and another for applying their new knowledge on an instrument.
